Policy

Forward-thinking educators care about their students and the progress made towards achieving their goals. With the focus on quality programs, the educational community of California maintains a professional accreditation and certification system that contributes to excellence in California public education well into the 21st Century. This system for California emphasizes the essential participation of professional educators in the development of accreditation policies and procedures, the conduct of institutional reviews, and the determination of accreditation decisions.

Within each of the Center for Teacher Innovation programs, these policy standards and requirements are carefully integrated to ensure that each candidate will meet requirements for credentialing and professional learning.
